In July 1986 seed was offered called Vriesea 'Brentwood' x various. Not only is V. 'Brentwood' a hybrid of unknown parentage but no-one really knows what it looks like - see Bromeliad Cultivar Registry page 367. So the progeny could be very varied. After 10 years Keith Bradtberg grew a beauty which we are calling Vriesea 'Regal'
